Vivien Brown

I began my career in hearing healthcare nearly 20 years ago while studying biology at the University of British Columbia.  Since then, I’ve worked across independent clinics, corporate chains, and spent over a decade providing hearing services in northern BC, including work with WorkSafe BC claims, noise-induced hearing loss, and Indigenous communities.  Experiencing both large systems and small practices shaped my belief that hearing care works best when it is personal, flexible, and always driven by what’s best for the patient – not corporate targets. 

That philosophy led me back to independent practice.  I eventually transitioned into ownership, taking over Broadmead and Oak Bay Hearing Clinics.  In 2024 we opened Colwood Hearing and Balance Clinic with Dr. Brittani Trapp, AuD.  We are also looking forward to opening Qualicum Beach Hearing Clinic at the end of 2025.

Through our clinics, my focus is on delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care and providing the time, clarity, and support they need to make informed decisions about their hearing health. 

Today, I live in Oak Bay with my husband and our three children.  We love raising our family here and feel incredibly lucky to call this beautiful island home!
