ReSound LiNX Hearing Aid are now available for Veteran’s

ReSound LiNX Hearing Aid, Victoria BC

Yesterday, Lia and I were at the training seminar in Vancouver for the new direct to iPhone LiNX hearing aid from ReSound.  This hearing aid manufacturer has historically had a lot of “firsts” in this industry and once again, it is the first hearing aid to be able to connect directly to an iPhone.  Now you can easily take phone calls, stream music, listen to voice mail and control the hearing aid all through the phone.  Apple has designed what they call a “Native App” on the phone.  A native application (native app) is an application program that has been developed for use on a particular platform or device, thus allowing them to take advantage of the latest technology available on mobile devices.

This device is not for everyone, but it certainly will be wonderful for some.  For those early adopters who are heavy cell phone users, for those who want to be discrete when making adjustments to their hearing aids or for those who frequently listen to podcasts or music from their iPad or iPhone.  Even Face Time will be improved when the sound comes directly into the ear.

What we also learned yesterday is that the LiNX 7 is available for order for those who have coverage by Veteran’s Affairs Canada.  Wonderful news!

Thankfully, ReSound has not imposed a premium price for these hearing aids and is offering it at current market prices.  We are very excited about the potential of these aids and welcome anyone who is interested to attend our no obligation 3 day Demo Event March 19-21.  You will have a chance to hear what the ReSound LiNX Hearing Aid sounds like!
