I spent most of my youth growing up outside of Toronto, and took a leap moving out to the west coast to do my undergraduate degree in Linguistics at the University of Victoria. I quickly fell in love with the city, geography, lifestyle, and people out here. After a couple years in Vancouver completing my Masters degree in Audiology at the University of British Columbia, and a couple years at my first job as an audiologist working at the hospitals in Calgary, I was lucky to return to Victoria with my husband in 2010, for him to do training for his career. This is where I first started working with Erin and her incredible team at Broadmead Hearing Clinic. However, after a couple years of working at Broadmead, my husband’s work took us back to the mainland. Finally, four years after leaving Victoria, we returned with our two little boys in tow, and settled down permanently in the city we love so much.
I have felt so grateful to be able to return to work with the exceptional team at Broadmead Hearing Clinic, a group of people dedicated to improving the lives of our clients by improving their hearing and communication ability. I find my work as an audiologist incredibly rewarding, and I feel very fortunate to be a part of my client’s lives and to be able to witness the positive transformations that occur when hearing difficulties are made better. My diverse experience working in both public and private audiology clinics in different cities helps me in exploring a range of solutions to all of the unique and individual concerns that each client may have.
When I am not working on Mondays and Wednesdays at Broadmead, I am enjoying spending time outside, rain or shine, exploring our beautiful landscape with my family.
I truly look forward to meeting new clients and reconnecting with the ones I met years ago!
