Hearing Aid Manufacturers

Hearing Aids have undergone a revolution of the past several years.  It is the same technological revolution computers and smart phones are undergoing.  Miniaturization, the ability to manufacture incredible small batteries circuit boards and related hearing aid components has resulted in a tiny digital hearing aid that fits behind your ear or in your ear canal.  This hearing aid is essentially an un-programed computer.

There are many hearing aid manufacturers around the world.  Some dispensing clinics are wholly owned subsidiaries of hearing aid manufacturers, for example Connect Hearing is owned by Swiss hearing Aid manufacture, Phonak AG.  As independent clinic's we have access to any hearing aid that can be legally sold in Canada.  This list is a list of the most common manufacturers that we deal with.

Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have about different manufacturers.

Hearing Aid Buying Guide

Making a decision to purchase a hearing aid can often feel overwhelming.  Our audiologists can help you choose the right hearing aid for you.

Hearing Fact

More than 8 million Canadians have some type of hearing problem. Hearing difficulties are often unrecognized by the person involved. Children and teenagers seldom complain about the symptoms of hearing loss, and adults may lose their hearing so gradually they do not realize it is happening.

The first step in treatment of a hearing problem is a hearing evaluation by an audiologist.
